

Southwark College, part of NCG, is looking to recruit an experienced ALS Funding Coordinator to lead the coordination of Additional Learning Support funding claims for learners aged 16-25 and oversee the effective deployment of classroom-based Learning Support Workers. The role will support both our discrete Supported Learning provision, where learners aged 16-25 are taught in small groups of 8-10, and learners with Education, Health and Care Plans who are completing vocational courses in the wider college setting. Our Supported Learning students have mild to moderate learning needs.
Based at the Southwark College site, in The Cut, close to Waterloo Station, the successful candidate will be part of a large team of Supported Learning staff. We have excellent resources and a modern suite of classrooms.
This role is central to ensuring learners with additional needs receive timely, high-quality support and that the college secures and evidence funding accurately, consistently and in line with statutory and funding requirements.
